There are lots of exciting events for all ages in and around the Barrington Coast
this weekend and we have picked a few events that we though you might like to check out
On Saturday, our local school here at Boomerang Beach, The Pacific Palms Public School are holding the Pacific Palms Family Fair in the school grounds on Boomerang Drive from 10am until 2pm. Kids will love the children’s rides, face painting, craft activities and sweet treats. for the adults they will have live music, food stalls, a live auction of fantastic prizes, a cake competition and market stalls. Entry is Free and rides are $5 each or $25 for an all day ride pass! All funds raised will go towards supporting the children of Pacific Palms Public School.
There will be a different type of engine roaring down the tarmac at Taree Airport this Saturday when the first ever MCDRA Drag Racing event kicking off from 9am-3pm. Spectator entry on the Day is $10 for Adults, $5 for kids under 16 or $25 for a family pass (2 Adults & 2 Children under 16)
Beer lovers are in for a treat at The Coastal Brewing Co (3 Dalman St, Forster) as they celebrate Indie Beer Day this Saturday in the tap room from 11am-4pm. In the lead up to the national cheer to indie beer at 2pm we will have lucky door prizes & half price schooners on all beers from 12 noon-2pm.
As always there will be plenty of local fresh produce, special treats, local art and a bargain to be found at several markets around Forster and Pacific Palms this weekend. On Saturday check out the Tuncurry Markets in John Wright Park, next the Forster-Tuncurry bridge from 8am until 1pm and on Sunday wander down to The Pacific Palms Markets (located next to the Recky Club and held on the last Sunday of every month) from 9am -1pm
If you’re in the area call in and visit us at Mobys. Our cafe/bar/restaurant ‘Mobys on Red Gum’ will be open all weekend! we start serving great coffee from 7:30am
Breakfast is available from 7:30am until 11am both Saturday & Sunday as is lunch from 12pm – 2pm and we are open for dinner from 5:30pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
