The Great Lakes area has an abundant supply of fresh local produce
As head chef at Mobys on Red Gum I am able to create exciting menus that showcase the best locally-sourced seasonal produce available
Burraduc Buffalo in Bungwahl, 15 minutes drive South of Boomerang Beach, is the only NSW Water Buffalo dairy producing fresh milk and artisan style cheeses by traditional methods. I have been working with Elena since the start of 2017 and I am still surprised by the quality of her cheeses, so much so, I am always trying to incorporate something of hers into my menu
Ben from Smiths Lake Meat & Chicken locally sources his beef from Cedar Party Road in Taree. It’s great when you find someone that shares the same passion for good quality produce as yourself and Ben is no exception. If he hasn’t got it he always goes out of his way to find what I am after
I source my seafood through Monin Seafoods Wholesale at Pacific Palms. Monin always has a great selection of locally caught fish available which allows me to change my fish & seafood dishes to suit. It’s great hearing our team tell our customers “Yes! this fish is locally sourced” It make me very happy knowing our customers will love their meal
I invite you to come and experience something special from our menu
